The College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University, in cooperation with the Department of Continuing Education, organized a scientific training workshop entitled (Chemical Materials of Concern and Related Threats) presented by the instructor at the College of Medicine at the University of Kufa, Professor Dr. Mahdi al-sahlawy at The center of the university campus
The trainings included in the workshop aimed to enhance and develop the current situation of chemical and biological security in Iraq by achieving a set of points, including ensuring chemical safety and security inside the laboratory and warehouse, a sustainable environment for warehouse work, and spreading a culture of chemical safety and security in the university laboratories and research centers, where the discussion was opened for participants. And the mechanism of practical application, use of references, giving examples and discussing obstacles
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations, including the establishment of a knowledge base in safety and chemical security for the persons participating in the course Sustainability
